Hello fig-friends.
I think you have the right idea with eating fresh and freezing for preserves. They look delicious for sure !Gladstone1969 said:Hello folks. Longtime lurker who’s learned a ton from all of you over the years. I have an orchard of 40+ in ground trees in Northern, VA (zone 7a) and about 10 in pots. Now that I’m about 6 years into my fig journey, I feel more confident contributing more. Good luck with the site! By the way, I never got my “confirm” email. Today’s pulled figs before the rains… (and a test to see if I could add an image). They’re in the freezer now for a future batch of fig jam…. I saved the ripe ones for fresh eating after drying in the fridge.

I've got a lot of good fig content coming in the next few months +
Figured out that Teramo is the exact same fig as Brown Sugar crunch, have pics, etc.
Tasted the first green goblin! What a tree and texture.....
and lots more.
Thanks Joe!

Cool. I got your message so I don’t think it deleted. There’s always a learning curve to a new platform. Let’s connect when everything is lignified! I am interested in trades! I still need to make a signature. bFigless said:@"Gladstone1969"#72 . Really great in-ground and potted lists. I actually have one or two of what you're looking for. Gulbun LOL probably misspelling it I think it's a good phenotype of the variety cuz I have first year figs on it.
