Teresa. Did Mikes explanation clarify it for you? Let me know if you have any issues. I realize navigation is a bit different with the forum software we’re using

Actually I finally got it.  I made a post about how I did it.  The only thing so far I need to figure out is how to post a link like a YouTube video.  At the other forum when I want to do that there's a option that's a picture of a chain link.  I didn't see that here.  I tried to just cut and paste but that didn't work so I just went old school and posted a picture of the video so members could look up the title in YouTube search.

You should see this area where you can paste the url for the youtube video. Note you'll also need to select the source for the video in the drop down menu on top. in your case, youtube

@"TorontoJoe" just wanted to say your doing a grrrrrrrreat job with your forum. It going to be a wonderful place to learn, make great new friends and be with old friends. These little kinks are no big deal, kinda like when you buy a new house or car just need to work them out then it’s pure sailing from from after that. For me it’s not easy figuring out new format’s but technology changes so fast it forces me out of my comfort zone but I’ll figure some things out and what i can’t I’ll ask someone to show me. Again this is going to be a great forum.

Nice one guys, and having to start a new forum like this is a steep learning curve, I have done it once, but bikes, not figs. With the people I see here already, it will be a great success, and it will grow quickly.....so onward and upward we go.
Rob.

Welcome Rob, glad to have you here.
I believe you are right, this place will be great :)

Congratulations on the new forum! Glad you did it, so I didn't have to. I was going to reluctantly post on ourfigs, but no need to do that any more :)
I've got a lot of good fig content coming in the next few months +

Figured out that Teramo is the exact same fig as Brown Sugar crunch, have pics, etc.

Tasted the first green goblin! What a tree and texture.....
and lots more.

Thanks Joe!

Hello folks. Longtime lurker who’s learned a ton from all of you over the years. I have an orchard of 40+ in ground trees in Northern, VA (zone 7a) and about 10 in pots. Now that I’m about 6 years into my fig journey, I feel more confident contributing more. Good luck with the site! By the way, I never got my “confirm” email. Today’s pulled figs before the rains… (and a test to see if I could add an image). They’re in the freezer now for a future batch of fig jam…. I saved the ripe ones for fresh eating after drying in the fridge.
