How do you keep yours warm during winter?

really don't use in winter it's to cold here.i am using it now I keep it about 68* F I have my rooted starts in there now.was anxious to get these out of the house and into natural sunlight.i have electric heater in there controlled by built in thermostat.it comes on below 68*F.

According to my pictures I wasn't able to uncover them until April 10th. I think was getting figlets in early June + or -

Joe when you wrapped that tree is the pink fiberglass touching the wood, and is that a white tarp or is it a frost cover?

I am also a bit late to this thread. I succumbed to all of the IC hype last year and bought a small tree in the summer and I up-potted it to a 10-gallon. Unfortunately, it only grew maybe 1 inch, and I thought it was sick, but I see it is a slow grower for some, so I will be patient.

that's awesome, it took mine a couple years. in the third year I got good figs.

I am trying to root two Iranian Candy.
Question:
Are they by any chance known to be harder to root?

I wouldn't see why .I was gifted my mother tree,and airlayered a branch last summer it rooted nicely.

I wrap a few layers of burlap then insulation then two layers of tarp or building wrap.

If using heat cables they’re not very hot so I think they can be against the tree or between the burlap and tarp. I don’t think it really matters

Yep, same stuff I feed my other 80 or so trees and they did great.
