Do you hand pollinate your figs and breed them out or whatever? I received a GXY/Yanonali cutting and going to let that ride and see how that does. I have no definite plan for it at this point except to just let it grow. LolMost members will have a way different answer than mine.
My collection is not your norm.
I did not know how many where out there when I started collecting.
But I thought there could not be that many. You would have known about them already right?
Seems There are more than I could ever count in my lifetime.
I am still learning about them.
Hahaha true! Everyone has a different opinion on everything. One man’s unique flavor may be someone’s else’s trash pile. Or the opposite. Good luck in your searches!I honestly don't have a most wanted.
I'm mostly looking for any that are said to have a unique flavor....what ever that means. lol
I do hand pollinate them. And have kept some of the seedlings.Do you hand pollinate your figs and breed them out or whatever? I received a GXY/Yanonali cutting and going to let that ride and see how that does. I have no definite plan for it at this point except to just let it grow. Lol
I’ve never heard of those. May the fig gods look down upon you in your next attempt. LmaooooooMy most wanted are the varieties I can't seem to get to root successfully. I'm looking at you Borda Barraquerand Fiorone Di Ruvo

I'll clear the last corner of the yard out this fall and keep my eye out for a gulbun later this year.
May the fig gods look down upon you. LmaooooMy most wanted are the ones that all died on me apparently. Green Michurinska has been my most wanted for awhile, but every single cutting wilted. Oh well.

I see your future figs description says Gulbun and Dalmatie. Is Dalmatie and Stella the same thing? Interwebs is 50/50 on it.![]()
Gulbun Fig Tree - One Green World
Gulbun fig is a super tasty melon flavored fig that we've really enjoyed. Main crop figs are fairly early and will usually ripen here in Western Oregon.onegreenworld.com
