Your most WANTED fig?

I honestly only have 2 varieties I even want to still acquire now *with a caveat*

The caveat: I have cuttings of several that I very much hope to be successful with this year but if they don’t make it they’ll be on my list again in the future.

Vince #3 and Pastiliere (the *real* one, not the one that drops for 5 years and may still be a Smyrna)

Vince #3 is just not very readily available right now and I assume that when it does become more so it will take a few seasons to drop in price (I have to assume it will be expensive to start)

Pastilliere is more common, but I got it from OtBP nursery and it was not the correct strain (and died last year) so I haven’t sought it out again yet.

I haven’t heard of the Vince #3. I have heard of the Pastilliere. I do believe I heard really good things about it. I don’t believe I know anyone with it.

rut roh...first I heard that BB doesnt root successfully...I have a few right in the rooting tray right now but have no idea if its doing well or not. They are all just no names right now except for a couple high dollar ones and easily identifiable ones like HdA.
After 6 weeks for BB, swelling buds is always a good sight.

Ignorance is not bliss. I am not sufficiently knowlegeable to know what I really want, but I really, really really want it

You're going to find that no matter how knowledgeable you become.... nothing changes.

You deserve to know now!

Very interesting... My Dalmatie and Stella are very different. Similar in size. Stella much darker interior and generally less productive. Also later.
Yea, I’ve seen different reports on it. That’s one that I’m pretty excited about. I hope it’s productive for me. It seems like it will be at least vigorous. Was the first one to push leaves.

Which one do you like more, the Stella or the Dalmatie?

Mine is Vincenzo. It has also been the one I've been trying to get the longest lol (after I saw a Ben B video on it years ago).
Never heard of that one either. Yall are throwing some good stuff out there! Pretty cool to see what everyone is chasing around.
