What pruners do you recommend / use? 🤔

Recently noticed my pruners are on their last few days until they give, they’ve been used and abused that’s for sure 😂

Looking to see if there are any pruners you all would like to recommend or show me which you currently are using? :)

Will look into it! Thanks 👍 looking for something durable since I’m using my pruners on a daily; brambles, figs, stone fruit, garden beds etc
The first time I used these I sliced my thumb open....I was wiping them off with an alcohol pad, cut right through it and into my thumb. DOH! lol

These have been my favorite for the last couple of years. Will need the blade sharpener as well.

I have a backup pair of the Harbor Freight when I have my Coronas soaking in alcohol after major sap build up. The backups are super sharp but if I need to cut thick cuttings close to an inch, I definitely need my Coronas.

I have the straight Corona bypass pruners as well as a Fiskars bypass pruner with a 30 degree offset. Both are well made and remain sharp after years worth of use.

ARS as stated above. I have the 8" and 9" pruners for 4 years now and have yet to sharpen them. Just clean them after use and they will last many years. Corona also makes good products and they're out in California.

I’ve had the same pair of felco 2’s for 17 years now. As an arborist, I tend to go to a number of trade shows yearly to maintain certifications and even I still fall for a yearly pair of new fancy pruners from other brands. They don’t compare to my felco 2s

I used cheaper shears for a long time... I bought a Vesco A1 a while back.... I didn;t know what I'd been missing. Cleaner cuts. Stays sharp. Light weight and fits the hand well. Not to mention.... Italian Made! 😬

They have electric pruners and grafting knives as well

If I'm not mistaken their US distribution hub is very close to @ktrain. Are you far from Acworth?

Acworth is about 40 minutes.
