Just picked up these inexpensive harbor freight bypass pruners over the weekend. My pruners (also cheap) went missing somewhere in the yard and will probably pop up shortly. Worked fine for a weekend of use so far.
I got these a couple of years ago and I really like them. Comparable to my Felco 4. Both models will last many years.

These are pretty cheap, definitely will grab a pair thank you. If they survive then it’s a plus, if they don’t then it’s only 13 bucks

The first time I used these I sliced my thumb open....I was wiping them off with an alcohol pad, cut right through it and into my thumb. DOH! lolWill look into it! Thanks

These have been my favorite for the last couple of years. Will need the blade sharpener as well.
I have a backup pair of the Harbor Freight when I have my Coronas soaking in alcohol after major sap build up. The backups are super sharp but if I need to cut thick cuttings close to an inch, I definitely need my Coronas.

These are what I bought a couple years back to replace an off-brand model - the ARS is very high quality and (as mentioned above) very sharp!

I used cheaper shears for a long time... I bought a Vesco A1 a while back.... I didn;t know what I'd been missing. Cleaner cuts. Stays sharp. Light weight and fits the hand well. Not to mention.... Italian Made! 
They have electric pruners and grafting knives as well
