What fig would you not part with ?

Honey fig it’s a tie between Barbillone and Pingo De Mel but I’m also going to include Golden Riverside.

Purple berry fig it’s a tie between Italian 258 and Figo Preto but I’m also going to include Ondata.

Green berry fig it’s a tie between Angelito and Paradiso Siro but I’m also going to include Cosme Manyo.

Sugarish fig it’s a tie between Black Celeste and LSU Tiger but I’m also going to include Stallion.

If I had to choose one it would probably be a tie between Italian 258 and Paradiso Siro.

If you put a gun to my head and made me choose between the two I’d have to just hope the gun was empty and you are bluffing lol 😂
Does Pingo de Mel produce large honey figs? I wasn’t happy with either Robert’s Golden Rainbow or YLN. They are horrible during a rainy season.

I must be bad at math or something. I keep cutting back on my collection of over 150 varieties, only to have more varieties during the following season. KEEP ONE?

OK, I think I’d choose Black Celeste. 50 mature trees of Black Celeste.
I have a black Celeste cutting I’m currently trying to root. I’ve heard alot of good things

They are not as massive as yellow long neck, golden rainbow, or golden riverside but they aren’t tiny either. They really start to get a crazy sweet flavor year 3ish going forward. They all ooze out that drop of nectar when they about ready to pick. Tree is always loaded she is a heavy producer for me. I’m sure caprified this things would be stupid good.

I am late to the party here but with a VERY limited experience I vote I-258. I only got to taste a few varieties of my own this past summer but my last 2 were amazing!! The last Olympian was twice the size of all the others I got from that tree and was spot on sugary peach. But…. That last I-258 was soooo good!!! Rich and complex, the flavor kind of stuck to the roof of my mouth. I cannot wait to get another of these!! So again from a very limited portfolio, I have to say the I-258 has been my favorite and the one I would keep above all others.

I have pingo cuttings coming and already has roots in a fig pop. And a zaffiro and uncle corky also. I have good berry figs that my husband loves. And some others to try next year This next year my hope to find my favorite honey fig any others
