I have a notebook dedicated to figs.
Not sure most could read it. But it is where I write what I have learned and I try to right down all the figs I have.

So if I get either of them, I don't need the other? I am just making sure I understand this cause like I said this the first time I hear them being similar. Sorry for this but this will cut back in my spending.

Correct on all counts. Although you never really know until you grow them all. I’m in a position now where if multiple collectors tell me that the figs are very similar, I’ll just choose one variety. I still have too many Mount Etnas - which isn’t a horrible problem (lol), but I want variety. The Etnas are my workhorses, but about half of them will be culled and replaced this year.

I feel ya. Waiting to see what all makes it so I can spend a whole night making stainless labels.
Still waiting on another sale. So should be getting many more.

Well sir happy to hear about the palmata.
Not sure if anybody else has it besides us and one other.
I may need to send it to a few others next season to make sure it sticks around.

It is a wild fig from Israel that has leaves like Fayoumi and Cap Terra Hava.
It is a common fig that is to me kinda dense. I really like it.
I sent it to Kevin and one other member here to trial.
Hopefully they will like it as much as I do.
