There it is! Look at the size of those cuttings! I admit, I know they take longer to root but I don’t ever think I’ve killed a big log like that. What a beautiful fig too! I’ve never grown it. Don’t think it’s ever trickled north of the border…. At least not as far as I know

No Etna types this year, still have too many. lol
I just grabbed a few I lost last year because I let them sit in the fridge way too long,
Like Ham Rham and B Branca, Jade and Perola. There are a few others.

I didn’t realize others do that too! I beat myself up… just too much to get done sometimes.

I showed restraint. I was so tempted to buy only 1, but I’ve seen that IBG is very similar to Bor. Gris. And I have cuttings of Bor. Gris rooting.

@TorontoJoe I have that Mug!! It's printed on one side only, So if i hold it in my right hand I'm trying to convince other people. If I hold it in my Left hand I'm trying to convince or affirm myself.

Yea man, things got real busy and I just kept putting it off, next thing I knew 8 months had gone by.
Most of the cuttings were just not viable anymore.
And some molded pretty bad.
It was a lot of cash I lost last year.

I went last year, and bought 3 Bass Favorite Fig cuttings from Harvey's sale. Amazingly all three survived. Not as thick has the thickest ones that are pictured. Still nicely thickened up.

I'm being pulled by temptation...must resist. lol

It is hard to resist and I did some damage in the previous sales. I thought hard about picking up a couple extras, but I stayed strong. It wasn’t easy.
