February!?!? I need to get my hands on some of that figgin' magic dust you're using on your plants! :ROFLMAO:
Magic? Nah... LOL. This one has actually been a slow grower compared to others started at or around the same time.

Can you recognize your Angelito air layer? Thank you for it again, by the way. I bet you can't. I had to cut it up and re-root, hope you won't get mad :D
This one was also put in the soil in early February. I already pinched it to encourage lateral branching. This one shows about average growth in this time frame. I've had faster rooters/growers before, like Crozes and Hollier.

Looking forward to trying this one this season. I love Adriatic figs.

Here is its sibling that I began rooting about 5-6 weeks later.

Angelito must be genetically a very strong and a healthy grower. My Angelitos leaves are greener and healthier looking than all my other varieties. Yours looks very nice and green too.

Thanks. I find my Adriatics in general are very healthy, deep green and vigorous. I have many varieties with similar traits, but definitely have a few that aren’t as healthy and green. HDA is one of them. No matter how well o treat it, it still shows nutrient deficiency and/or FMD on many leaves and is more of pale green.
