Yes I consider it early. Started ripening main crop 8/10 for me last year.Is it an early variety?
Is it an earlier variety? When does it ripen for you?

YesIs this a sugar/honey type fig?
What a beauty! I could stare at it for hours LOL
Even if couldn’t ripen it here, I’d still grow it just for its looks. Share your experiences with BNR especially in the NE.

Rooted this one in February. It's still a tiny plant, but it already has two figs on it.That's so sexy!
How old is the plant? I assume one you rooted in fall and kept awake all winter?

Magic? Nah... LOL. This one has actually been a slow grower compared to others started at or around the same time.February!?!? I need to get my hands on some of that figgin' magic dust you're using on your plants!![]()
Angelito must be genetically a very strong and a healthy grower. My Angelitos leaves are greener and healthier looking than all my other varieties. Yours looks very nice and green too.Magic? Nah... LOL. This one has actually been a slow grower compared to others started at or around the same time.

Can you recognize your Angelito air layer? Thank you for it again, by the way. I bet you can't. I had to cut it up and re-root, hope you won't get mad
This one was also put in the soil in early February. I already pinched it to encourage lateral branching. This one shows about average growth in this time frame. I've had faster rooters/growers before, like Crozes and Hollier.

Looking forward to trying this one this season. I love Adriatic figs.
Here is its sibling that I began rooting about 5-6 weeks later.

General consensus seems to be that it has a slight edge over WM#1 flavor wise and is a tad sweeter. I am perfectly happy with my WM#1 and Unk Prosciutto, I have a hard time imagining something appreciably better than these two, but curiosity got the better of me. I want to be wowedI've been hearing a lot about Angelito. Guess I need to look into that one.
Thanks. I find my Adriatics in general are very healthy, deep green and vigorous. I have many varieties with similar traits, but definitely have a few that aren’t as healthy and green. HDA is one of them. No matter how well o treat it, it still shows nutrient deficiency and/or FMD on many leaves and is more of pale green.Angelito must be genetically a very strong and a healthy grower. You really, REALLY need one! Just saying. IMHO, it's a must have.I've been hearing a lot about Angelito. Guess I need to look into that one.

I mean... They're all very solid, top shelf figs.
Yet we are all constantly trying to find something better... Angelito... Boysenberry Blush...I do want to try that one too. Damn... it never ends.
My beauty swelled and started to turn color.

Better protect it... It looks like it's in jail, but it will thank me later
