Best Adriatic?

As promised some pictures of my first year potted WM#1! The fig tasted semi sweet and berry - wasn’t real jammy as I’ve expected.

Mercedes GEM is worth it. If you still want one, I get some cuttings being rooted. It is a classic Adriatic. It is like Lake Spur and my Mariani Carini Green.

Michurinska is a Bulgarian name. So G Michurinska should be a Bulgarian fig as we are told. Not sure where it belongs. I do not know what the Lattarola is truly is. But we consider it to be similar to Atreano etc. It has pink/salmon interior color. No one appears to have a true Lattarola fig.
Ahhh…good to know that you really like it, Mercedes Gem is on my short list for potential cuttings that I want to do this winter! 😊

This thread has been Rolling Along for quite some time. Situations have changed since it first started. Has been previously noted I have had to resign from managing the free cutting program, and I'm currently awaiting clarification on this program's future. I also noticed that I didn't ever specify my favorite adriatics. Green Goblin Angelito White Madera#1 and JHA Big Bill gifted me with Green Michurinska but it has not fruited for me as of yet. Green Ischia is a long time resident of my pity corner sick room going on two years now. I'm thinking of naming the pity Corner wing of my Orchard after it. I'm on my second year with thermolito, and I haven't made up my own mind about it. I've heard some amazing reports about it lately, so we'll just have to see. Fig Gazer gives it a 10 in his Orchard, and I love the taste of it. Fig gazer does not fertilize his Orchard, but just let it grow naturally. Maybe that's one of the reasons it's the leader of the pack.

“Pity corner”…😆

If you have the season to grow Panachee, don't sleep on it. It’s easily found and cheap. I think it's one of the very best. Tasted side by side with Cravens Craving. My wife went for Panachee. I preferred CC on that day. I think it takes some years to grow before setting and ripening figs, but well worth it.

For is this year it has been WM#1 and LSU Strawberry that are the best. Verdal Longue splits too easily and the green goblin hasn’t had enough flavor( it is a young tree though)
