That’s beautiful. I love peonies. We don’t have them but several of my neighbors do, we did get a nice Hydrangea tree. Looking forward to seeing it bloom.
Do you know the variety? I believe this is the one I am waiting to bloom that I dug out from my Aunts place in the fall. All I remember is a yellow center with magenta petals - I’ve never seen one like that before.
No, sorry I don’t. The previous homeowner planted them.
No I haven’t. I have the same issue on identifying most flower and plant varieties in my yard. Most of what I have was dug up from family members yards when they moved, divided or were just getting rid of for one reason or another.
They do look the same variety as mine. The deep color fades as the flowers ages.
Those are sweet, my wife would love the color combo.
