That’s beautiful. I love peonies. We don’t have them but several of my neighbors do, we did get a nice Hydrangea tree. Looking forward to seeing it bloom. The first of my peonies opened this week. View attachment 6930
Do you know the variety? I believe this is the one I am waiting to bloom that I dug out from my Aunts place in the fall. All I remember is a yellow center with magenta petals - I’ve never seen one like that before. The first of my peonies opened this week. View attachment 6930
No, sorry I don’t. The previous homeowner planted them.Do you know the variety? I believe this is the one I am waiting to bloom that I dug out from my Aunts place in the fall. All I remember is a yellow center with magenta petals - I’ve never seen one like that before.
No I haven’t. I have the same issue on identifying most flower and plant varieties in my yard. Most of what I have was dug up from family members yards when they moved, divided or were just getting rid of for one reason or another. No, sorry I don’t. The previous homeowner planted them.
Have you ever been to Styler’s Festival of the Peony in Chadds Ford?https://styerspeonies.com/pages/festival-of-the-peony
They let you drive through their massive commercial peony fields in May. The Coral Charm ones were my favorite.
