Beautiful things blooming

I see you have a stake in back of it that’s great. as beautiful as peonies are their size makes them extremely top heavy, when it rains they bend way down near the ground.

I have some Peonies they're gorgeous I love how they get a little bit larger every year and more blooms plus they hold better in the rain but still they jump over when it rains lol my larger was just spent i noticed yesterday but another one has opened right as those were finished

I tried to grow a tree form but was unable to keep it til bloom

Actually we thought these died in the pots because all the foliage shriveled up before winter.
But, here they are all doing great.
We have 1 that is supposed to be the stronger stiffer type, but no flowers on that one this year....so far.

They’re an awesome and long lived plant with beautiful flowers.

I think I’m still a couple weeks out until mine bloom. My irises, azaleas and josee lilacs are blooming though. I’ll post pictures this evening if you don’t mind me adding to this thread.

Add away, our azalea are blooming too, and nearly all the roses.
Let see those blooms! 😁

Tree Peony is the one that is (hmm🤔) self supporting and it is a shrub. It's flower is at last 3 times larger then Herbaceous Peony. The rain doesn't bend the flower down. I have both Chinese Herbaceous Peony and Chinese Tree Peony.

We have 1 of these, it's still young though.
Good to see it's true to the hype about supporting it's flowers!

Tree Peony started to bloom a few days ago. On Herbaceous Peony flower buds are still closed.
Love it, can't wait for ours to get bigger and bloom.
That's actually the first one of those Ive seen, makes me want to get more. lol
