Anyone starting cuttings now?

That sure is a ton of cuttings!

If I had that many I would have a "I cant take it anymore!" moment.

As soon as I get back to Africa, but it's spring there now...and I have a nice selection to grow out just sitting in the fridge,

I DID grow some in the late summer early fall...results were not a s good as i would have liked due to age of cuttings, using Palm Coir, the cold setting in, etc.

I’ve been burying cuttings around the yard for the last month due to broken branches from raccoons and opossums. Not a good success rate, but better than tossing the branch in compost pile.

Set it and forget it lol  :D

I've been trying a few here and there all summer. Unfortunately I haven't been really successful about 30%. We're going to try some cuttings in water now, and also some cuttings in root riot compressed Peat cubes see how it goes. I had two cuttings of red Lebanese Becca Valley that failed on me. I also rooted forbiddenfruit.garden's the Beast. I had three of those cuttings and I was very successful with one I'm hoping to root at least one more of them. I must stand in awe, and amazement for the accomplishments of @GoodFriendMike, and @Ktrain. Please post pictures Ktrain, and Mike please give us more details of your Willy Wonka fig cutting Factory.

@Lewi. You're a superstar my friend. Propagating around the world. Please put that JH Adriatic in a pot with some good soil looks like a figlet on a mission to me. That way you'll leave your friend a rooted cutting to remind them of what big green thumbs you have Lewi

I just could not waste it....looked to nice to throw out with the branch I pruned off the neglected Adriatic JH. Well I can certainly try to plant....but my friends are not going to take care of it...so odds are slim it will make it.

I actually bought 3 big bags of soil ( big BLACK bags of Miracle grow...in the hope that the hot sun would kill the fungus gnats) put some Mucadines in pots...from runners on the ground with roots, some cuttings as well...no idea if they will survive either but one has leaves already, and I was just away from FL for 15 days)...now thinking of buying one small bag...

@Lewi go ahead and plant it my friend I bet you have more influence on your friends and you think. They'll probably treasure that fig tree.

Howdy, I am Jamey from ourfigs. But Southeast Figs is my title for business and communication, so gonna use it for everything from now on.
I have 6 mid summer Hative D'argenteiul cuttings in a 1 gallon pot, been rooting a few weeks now outside under the greenhouse roof with three walls removed and their looking good. They were secondary branches that had to go so tested to see how easy they root. They all seem to be rooting well.
