They look delicious. How long until main crop starts to ripen on your earlier varieties? Are you noticing any delay this year due to a cooler May?
Main crop usually Arrives at the end of July for me. Some of the trees were about a week behind on forming main crop. So we will see!

7/13/25 Exquisito Breba , the eye appears open, but it’s fairly tight as you can see from the cross section, there wasn’t any ants left inside. When I picked this, there was a swarm of sugar ants near the eye which I promptly drowned in water. I could smell the sweet aroma when I took it inside. Very sweet and tasted like main crop.

7/15/25 First Ischia Black Breba. They actually started ripening early July and the squirrels were snatching them up before they were even close to ripe. I may have overwatered this one in my hot and steamy greenhouse. Picked it early, since it was starting to crack open.
