Today’s pick of the day 2025

It's a really good fig. Mine's not having a great year after a hard pruning.... normally it squeezes out a lot of those nice big figs..... Glad you're still enjoying it.
I get loads of them but they take long to ripen. Took me at least 6 days to ripen this big sucker. Next season I may have no choice to wake up all my trees beginning of March I was late 3 weeks and what a big difference. Last season I was eating figs beginning of August and this season it just started end of august.

Quick question my inground fig tree figs started figlets on july first you think I’ll get them to ripen? It’s an earlier Etna type. According to my calendars I should be able to ripen by sept 15th 🤞

It's hard to say for sure. Last year I was eating good figs into November with no frost, but I'm right on the lake. The ground heat will keep them green longer..
