Quite honestly, he is not responding for good reason. He is being harrassed and even bullied to a degree to give cuttings away for free or to meet someone else’s idea of how it should be distributed. He does not have to tell anyone how much he paid for WB. People are being rude and I would not respond either. It’s gotten ridiculous. He has followed precedent.

If people want to go all in on one, that’s one thing, but all the rest… I’m just shaking my head.

I have no idea your relationship with him. But I think all of the posts in multiple threads are blending together, and so even if you did not have that intention, being combined with the others gives it a different feel. It’s gone too far. And he’s had a lot of personal problems this last year or so with a divorce and loss of a home, etc. etc. I don’t think the timing was good for him personally to list WB but he went ahead and did it because people were asking.

I always praised WB and we would post back and forth (in a friendly manner) and what not - nothing beyond that honestly.

Except that based on what I read so far, you guys are looking to proove that this variety is the same as Yellow Neches or 505H

Which proves nothing especially when that comparison is not done in a lab and just based on someone opinion.

Why not just buy to have it like the rest of the people who are interested in it, instead of this pathetic games that is going on.

Just being an observer now but is the main reason marco is upset is because people stating that WB could be synonymous with YN and 505H will somehow compromise the most he can get so that money could go to a good cause?

I understand no one needs to put out their business but if he had stated that it's for a good cause I believe he would've gotten more - I remeber the time an Angelito sale was going for a good cause and it did quite well.

DO NOT know about Yellow Neches ? Never tasted one .I kind of like 505-H makes 8-10 on my taste scale depending on the year and each individual fruit . I have tasted some 500 varieties and always looking for new to me tasty figs , so always hope somthing new to me is different no matter how good what i have is .
