The $1000 fig tree

@figologist , @grasshopper @Drew351 ,and all y'all. This is clearly insane, the price escalation in a few weeks is off the chart. Nevertheless dear oat it is likely to always carry a premium price now over pasquale. Just like Irene's Black Greek will always cost more than Borjosotte Grise. Or White Baca, over 505H. Even though they are all likely to be synonyms of each other. Sigh I was just inches away from sealing a deal on Sicilian 33 last night. Now it goes into my book of failures, like the Bitcoin I didn't buy for $5 Once Upon a Time.

Like all things in time, the price will come down. I was lucky to get mine and I will be happy to share once my tree is large enough.

@DCallahan I would say that was true, except we kind of walked to this price. First 150, then 300, then 350, then 500. And now.... da da da 1,000. Silver is also up today. Bitcoin jumped over the moon. So did ethereum, there were price escalations all over.

I didn't see it but a sicilian 33 owner told me it hit 350 and then 500. But to be honest I am not a FigBid follower so I might have missed it

I took a look, and you might be right several of those quoted prices were the run up to the $1,000 winner of the auction

Tree's are only worth what someone is willing to spend.
I remember watching this one.
