Surround WP - First Time Using

I made the same mistake. When I couldn’t get Surround WP, I bought some kaolin instead. Then I read this: https://www.phillyorchards.org/2015/05/04/kaolin-clay-sprays-for-fruit-trees/ and found the real Surround WP,

@JC Figgy found it burned fig leaves, but that may be when it was mixed with the permethrin.

Yep, I was definitely wrong.

Soooo…. as I’m applied the stuff to some peppers and cucumbers I thought to myself, “I don’t know what others are talking about… I don’t think the stuff is particularly messy”… Then, it dried!

TIP: Avoid over spray!

Shoulda seen when I had the figs lined up on the grass. white circles everywhere after I moved the pots. Luckily it got mowed and disappeared.

My wife could tell!

I used it on some plants in black planters in the front yard too... I had to wipe down all the plastic by hand to get it off.

The permethrin burns leaves.

WP doesn’t. Actually helps with sunscald.
