Im not an ammo expert but the one im using is 22LR at 1050fps. I think a suppressor would make a big difference in terms if sound, but they arent allowed in CA750FPS LR. Haven't seen that before

Do you need a suppressor?I use a .22 caliber pellet air rifle with built in suppressor.

I can't remember where I read it but chicken manure even pelletized is a good repellent. I have used it this year and they have stopped digging right away.I noticed that about them only going after new soil.
Hey... Whatever gets the job done!![]()
My neighbor uses a pellet gun with a red dot site. There are pellet guns (airsoft) that are suppressed or can get suppressors for without the need of a tax stamp.
I don’t but my parents do. I’ll eventually get back over there. I’m a mile or two away from themAsking. I thought you lived in the country.
Had a similar experience, but it gets washed away by the rain so I had to re-apply pretty soon. Can get pretty expensive.I can't remember where I read it but chicken manure even pelletized is a good repellent. I have used it this year and they have stopped digging right away.
Can you train a chicken to sh**t in the containers though? My grandparents’ chickens did it everywhere. You need a chicken!![]()
I have a friend who swears by composted chicken manure as fertilize for his fruit trees. Not sure if the composted stuff would work for squirrels. And we don't want to burn roots.Had a similar experience, but it gets washed away by the rain so I had to re-apply pretty soon. Can get pretty expensive.
