It’s like a zombie apocalypse here in East Texas!! We don’t do snow and ice well!! Lol!! Calling for all ice here according to YouTube weather but Weather Channel says snow. Would much prefer snow!! With the temp not getting above freezing until some time on Tuesday is will not clear for a bit. If it actually happens. Well I feel then need to run to Walmart.

Looks like the possibility of ice for Texas thru Georgia and maybe up the coast. We’ll be down to single digits so probably too cold for ice.

I love snow, but forget the snow... Its the 0 degree forecast Monday night that worries me! Yikes. Dieback time

Also Stock up your car with gas. If power goes out gas pumps won’t work.
I got 2 smith cuttings in my veggie draw in the fridge to root.

I just purchased 2 6 gallon buckets of wheat...making our own bread.....and freeze drying milk for those hard times. lol
Also picked up some hot chocolate, seemed appropriate with the chilly weather.
But no beer?

With the cold weather ive been making cheeses inside, and of course, the homebrew's always flowing here! Vanilla coffee in a porter = A+
The brie/camambert has been excellent! Had to build a cheese cave to increase capacity

LOL. I worked in a retail package store when I was younger. Whenever there was a winter weather alert, everyone hit the grocery store 1st, and their 2nd stop was the package store. We were basically printing money, because people needed their beverages if they were going to be stuck inside with family for a few days.Nobody’s mentioned stocking up on vino?
