Rarest figs?

The only way we have 99.9% of the figs we do is because people share. (Give, sell, trade) In my opinion it is counter intuitive to hoard a variety of fruit because you don't want someone else to have it. But I'm sure some people do. Luckily not many people do that, because there would be so little fruit in the world today if that were the case. Fruit was meant to be spread around. It makes for a better and healthier world
Many of the "hoarder" types give away there figs. But only to certain people. They give away to lovers not sellers. I have met some great fig hoarders. Good peeps. :)

The rarest fig is the “fig to rule all figs.” No one ever seems to get to it. Everyone wants it and looks for it continuously. As soon as you think you’ve gotten it, the “fig to rule all figs” isn’t the one you bought, but surely it must be that new seedling or newly discovered heirloom that came from overseas somewhere!!! 😉

Did I hear someone say Rionon Santana is rare?!

LOL - technically it is at the moment and in the possible near future Europe will have access to it (fellow member left the States and moved to a well known European country with a pair of RS sticks).

I would say Jesus fig, but the true Jesus fig aka the 'striped version" - maybe 2 people have it in the US from what I've gathered.

Also Milco caprifig - maybe a couple of people have it still but they're civilians (no real online or social media activity).

I was growing RS before it was cool!

@Kid Fig I am still waiting to see if my one cutting survives.😂🤣 Wish me luck

My 1 of 2 Ondata cuttings is showing some small growth as well but Pride goeth before a fall... Please wish me luck as well there.
