I am with you. Not a fan of sugar and honey figs but do enjoy them for a change every now and again. Going forward I think I will leave a few grafts just so I have some around.Byadi purchased from OTBP a few years ago.
The branching further from the house and not pictured also has similar amount of figs. I wish I liked honey type figs more, however, they do offer a nice break from the berry types and are refreshing.
Piggy bagging on our “other” discussion, did you not prune or lightly pruned this tree during dormancy? If so, I can definitely see what you’re talking about. I always wondered how to get so much figs on a short distanceLast year at this time these were all yellow and ready to be picked in a few days - probably going to be another couple weeks this year.

I didn’t prune this tree at all before Winter. It was wrapped but still suffered some tip damage due to user error, so I only pruned off the dead tips. I’ll be chopping it down some this fall to clean it up a bit before wrapping.Piggy bagging on our “other” discussion, did you not prune or lightly pruned this tree during dormancy?
