Chickens can be pets to. Just ask my wife.

My chickens are pets with benefits! Some of them love to cuddle with me. My black Ameraucana, Pepsi, demand me to pick her up and cuddle by pecking my pants. She would fall sleep and purr when I hold her. She also play fetch! I felt bad for my cats staying home alone most the time, but chickens are happy when they can free range. After my two kitties passed away, I only keep chickens as pets.

This is Tammy. We just adopted her today from a local animal rescue. Our Ziggy the shredder became ill a little while back and sad to say has departed. We missed him very much. Right now she’s exploring her new home and we’re all getting to know each other. She’s a little over a year old.

We decided to change her name to something more fitting to her sweet and loving personality an appearance. We chose to call her BELLA
