Lamarito is one of my absolute favorite honey type of figs. I am always thrilled when they start to ripen. Unfortunately we had a ton of rain Tuesday to Thursday this week but Lamarito did not split and the flavor did not get washed out. Not my words but my friend says its a honey type fig that isn't just sweet. The flavor is a thick honey syrup with hints of something else I can't even describe, my Pingo de mel was excellent when properly ripe this fig is superior. Skin was thin not chewy no splitting in the cooler nights like allot of other figs. It has some weight to it at 87g. Angelito takes all the spotlight for good reason but Lamarito is no slouch. Days to ripen 94 from a bump.
