Is this a problem

I didn’t know this. Thanks for sharing.

Yep! Few years ago I flipped when I saw what I thought were a crap-load of what I thought were ladybugs devouring my ripe figs. I couldn’t understand why they were eating my figs and other veg. It took some digging to find out that these lookalikes were apparently accidentally introduced to North America in 1988. They started in the south and worked their way up.

It’s important to learn to recognize the difference. The Asian Lady Beetle will destroy crops…. And they’re stinky

I have both here. It can be tricky to tell which is which

This reminds me of when I lived in Florida. There’s 2 snakes that look exactly alike. Think they were called Coral snake and the King Coral snake. Ones deadly one is not. There’s a little rhyme to tell the difference. They both have same 3 colors, red, black and yellow. The difference between the deadly and non deadly had to do with if black was touching the red or if it was touching yellow. Truth be told I never stood there long enough to care what color touched what color. 😂🤣😂🤣

Coral snake and Scarlet king. Both beautiful snakes. And not often seen or found anymore.
At least not here.

I used 50/50 water/91%isop alcohol. Took care of the mites(temporarily) and didn't seem to cause damage to the leaves.
