I had spider mites on one of my My Etnas and the damage looked very similar. Spider mites seem to love hairy Mt Etna figs… get yourself an inexpensive 20x - 60x microscope on Amazon and you can easily confirm. If you see necrotic spots, that can be as a result of FMD caused by FMV.Is this a problem rusty looking figlets?
Looks like mites probably red spider mites with that webbing I'd guess they aren't the good kind.Is this a problem rusty looking figlets?
I picked up one of those a few years ago...very handy indeed.@Figgin' A put me on to these little pocket microscopes.
There are many types available. Some designed to clip onto your phone's camera. I've found mine very handy for identifying pests so I know what I'm actually dealing with. And if you get the one that clips on to the phone you can take a picture and share it here where someone will be able to identify it. That's how I found out a plant had fig bud mites... I didn't know what they were when I saw them.
It's also nice that they're portable so you can use them out in the yard
