Now an hour later it’s 96°FIt’s very hot here now. 15 minutes ago it was 90°F now it’s 92°F and climbing. Have no idea what the heat index is but it sure feels hotter than the temperature says. What’s worse is there’s not a cloud in the sky, just clear blue and stagnant air, not so much as a leaf is moving, UGH!
Feels like 118 sheesh, I thought we only get these temps in AZ !!!! thats hot man , stay coolI am in the West end, here is what we have now:

I came home to something like that last year. My backyard was flooded. I now leave the water off when not home.View attachment 9025
The humidity wasn't bad today only around 70%. It's usually really bad. I was at my nieces birthday party party all afternoon and came home to find that my hose exploded and there was a nice steam going down the road.
Only gonna get worse.
It's like feeling like you're swimming in the air. Lol
No one wants to see that. lolYou just need to dress appropriately.... Go pull your speedo out of storage and get out there!![]()
I'm about an hour south east of Dallas. The humidity here is horrible, but I grew up in California and spent some time in the middle east so I'm not really used to this kind of heat. I have noticed we get most of our rain here in spring and early summer. Late summer and fall is dry. Did you have less rain in DFW in late summer and fall?I get that. I spent years in Dallas and DFW area. What I liked about Dallas summers was the heat and low humidity. Couldn't bear Houston summers. Still, one gets used to just about any weather. But when you go from balmy mid-70s and low-80s to 90s that feel like hundreds, that's quite a shock...Never water my plants twice a day but had to do it today as some were as shocked as I was.
