Lowe’s was selling that variety and Kadota a few years back and their leaf pattern look like Tena.

Alma or Holy Smokes leaves remind me of a paw print.
Very rounded lobes.
I dont have Alma any longer but I do have Holy Smokes.
Get some pics when I get home.

The person who provided me this cutting claimed it was Alma. I asked for the name of their supplier, and received it today -- a national online sales corporation. So there it was, pictures of Tena as Alma. Thank you to hambones for the correct ID.

I've never seen Tena passed off as Alma, usually it's passed off as White Marseille.

Here is a 2.5 page description [with markup] of Brunswick from Ira Condit's 1955 Monograph. I include it here as a separate thread because many authors fail to read Condit's discussion before quoting his "synonyms" -- which for the most part are misnomers, not true synonyms.
