Where did it pop up from?

I'm not sure I've ever seen a fig push out fruit like this one, regardless what variety it is

Wow...I guess it makes sense. Southern Cali, waspless Lousiana and Texas can have great fig environments. Good thing it's a common variety.

We were in Noto a couple of years ago and we were told by a life gard in Marzamemi to go te “Palermitano” in Noto as he makes the best arancini. Boy was he right , I can still taste them .

Wow nice, Mine have not put on figs that I know of, I may have seen some double bumps...maybe., lol

Normally at this stage I would pluck all the figlets to allow the tree to develop more easily... but I'm feeling brash... so the figlets stay!

*I also have a couple of these so I can afford to just play with one of them
