I stayed strong...except a few already ordered. lol
Get it ready Teresa, lets see some roots!
My mother tree died and I only replaced it this past year. It is a great variety. The hard skin is definitely prone to splitting though so keep an eye on it.Bill was really nice and combined my 2 orders and issued a refund for the extra shipping. It's rare sellers go to the trouble of doing that! It's much appreciated.
On another note, where's all the people growing Augusta Purple??? I'm surprised this one has not been spread around more. It looks like a fantastic variety.
Yes sir.....I swear I hear new to me fig names nearly every day. lol

That was a main crop fig. I am not sure if it was caprified or not. ProbablyWith that purpleish color, are those breba? Or does its main crop look like that?
I too thought it was a breba. The only time I saw purple rings were on brebas. So some caprified figs will make purple rings.?That was a main crop fig. I am not sure if it was caprified or not. Probably
The cool coastal climate in SB often brought out the purple ring in some varieties.I too thought it was a breba. The only time I saw purple rings were on brebas. So some caprified figs will make purple rings.?
