I'm looking around online, seems the smaller ones get bad reviews.Try Asian grocery stores, some time jack fruit on sale, yes crazy big, that’s why I never tried yet.
Need to find someone carrying them, not sure about their season.I really like Jack fruit.
Ask the store if they will cut it.
Many will. I normally get either a quarter or half. You can also roast the seeds or if you are in a warm enough area. Plant them.
I never trusted buying fresh fruit from unknown online resources. I prefer to see and feel what I am buying.I'm looking around online, seems the smaller ones get bad reviews.
Googled, Only southern FL and HawaiiI do wonder if they would grow here.
“Season of bearing. The main fruiting season is in summer and fall. Some fruit may ripen at other times, but usually not in winter and early spring.”not sure about their season.
Cool thanks, Being at work I don't usually have the time to look this stuff up, at least not until I get home. Lol“Season of bearing. The main fruiting season is in summer and fall. Some fruit may ripen at other times, but usually not in winter and early spring.”
Look into nearby Thai, Myanmar, Vietnamese or Chinese grocery stores. Not Korean or Japanese. I remember once I went into a very small Myanmar grocery store I saw them when I lived in Bowling Green KY. I saw them in a Thai store at Fort Wayne, IN. Here in MI I always see them in Chinese stores. I am sure in GA there should be some store carry them. My daughter lives in Atlanta for school, she goes to a Hongkong grocery store, I need ask her the name of it.Need to find someone carrying them
