Well....I didn't know that the Jackfruit was related to our tasty figs.

Learn something new every day. 😂

Now I want to try Jack fruit, but they are crazy expensive and the good ones are crazy big!

Maybe one day.

Try Asian grocery stores, some time jack fruit on sale, yes crazy big, that’s why I never tried yet.

I really like Jack fruit.
Ask the store if they will cut it.
Many will. I normally get either a quarter or half. You can also roast the seeds or if you are in a warm enough area. Plant them.
Need to find someone carrying them, not sure about their season.
I do wonder if they would grow here.

Look into nearby Thai, Myanmar, Vietnamese or Chinese grocery stores. Not Korean or Japanese. I remember once I went into a very small Myanmar grocery store I saw them when I lived in Bowling Green KY. I saw them in a Thai store at Fort Wayne, IN. Here in MI I always see them in Chinese stores. I am sure in GA there should be some store carry them. My daughter lives in Atlanta for school, she goes to a Hongkong grocery store, I need ask her the name of it.

I'm originally from Indiana, used to go to Ft. Wayne on a regular basis.
Anyway, yeah I'll have to see if there are some stores near me somewhere...I avoid Atlanta at all costs.

Yeah, I tried growing them here. Winters are to cold and they get to large for a green house

Did they fruit to the point you could eat them?
I bought the fruit from whole foods.
It is not a store I go to often. But I stop by there time to time to see what fruit they have.
I did grow quite a few seeds. But after a few years of them dying to the ground.
I was done with them. You would need a real greenhouse that is quite tall to grow them.
