I love when I pick and eat a really good fig…. Then look at the tag and think to myself …. “Huh… when did I get that one?”

Sign of a true Fig Fanatic.I love when I pick and eat a really good fig…. Then look at the tag and think to myself …. “Huh… when did I get that one?”![]()
Is there another fig that compares to Iranian Candy?
I'm still thinking about adding it but if it's too much like something else than....meh.
But...if early....may be worth it anyway.![]()
That one was on my list for this last cutting season but I held off for....I really can't remember why.Siblawi taste like banana popsicle to me but is right there with Iranian Candy for brix if you’re just looking to satisfy a sweet tooth
This time of the season a 5 . But they will probably slide down to a 3.5 as the top tier figs start to ripenHow would you rate taste on a 5 point scale?
Now you know you have too many trees when you ask that question. Kinda like I think I have a child named John but let me go check with my wife.Is it strange that “I think” I’m rooting a Teramo cutting but I’m not sure….I need to go out back and take a look around to remember what I’m rooting
Izbat An Naj is supposed to taste banana and pineapple after a few years.I sorta want a banana tasting fig. Or at least taste one sometime.
Hey! I resemble that remark!! LolSome of us don't know what we have in the yard much less what we are rooting.![]()

Lol. Just about anything I can get my hands on. Lol. I suppose I should have a wishlist. You and me both. So what you adding come cutting season?![]()
My young tree shot a branch at a wrong place. I can start an air layer for you, if you'd like. (Source of the tree: One Green World)That one was on my list for this last cutting season but I held off for....I really can't remember why.
I put it off until this coming season.
But,....I say BUT....It depends on if I'm able to nail down Iranian Candy first. lol

I’ve heard this comment about several green figs with red interiors - can you quantify what makes it not quite an Adriatic?Green Michurinska are ripening. Always look forward to them. Not quite an Adriatic but earlier and cold hardy
To those who are unaware.......To be called a real fig fanatic you must be unaware of at least 15% of what is in your collection, and have over 50 varieties. 100+ is required to enter into the inner circle of fanatics. Once you enter the ICF you can never leave. The cost of leaving is not spoken of.Is it strange that “I think” I’m rooting a Teramo cutting but I’m not sure….I need to go out back and take a look around to remember what I’m rooting
