I figure it could be useful to have a unified place for people to check to see if others have had good experiences with a seller. I'll start

I bought and had good experiences with:
Tinkerbugs -some freebee seeds, nice quality
Chesapeake Figs - good size, seems to be doing well
Off the Beaten Path Nursery -good communication and good quality cutitngs
Rich Palladino (from the fig selling fb page) - gave some great extras and high quality stuff
JC Figgy - some extras and nice quality
Hambone on figbid - exactly what was in the picture, prompt shipping
Figs4All - a bunch of extras, prompt shipping, friendly guy.

All gifts off this server was gifted and had good experiences. I'll leave their names off in case they dont want to be contacted but so far so good on giving stangers my address on the internet :) feel free to pm me on that if youre ever shy about that, or im sure our moderators will let you know if the member is an upstanding citizen or not.

Planting Justice.
Great communication and customer service.
Over 1100 plants, their rooted fig cuttings are well established and great prices.
Hires and trains released inmates for jobs in urban agriculture.
Builds permaculture gardens in food desserts to increase access to nutritious food. Runs youth programs in wellness, ecology and social justice.
Definitely worth checking out!

I would have so many to list from years past...Rarely have I had a bad experience.
We do ask that people take up bad experiences up with the sellers/buyers though...apposed to posting them in public.

I'm glad you have had so many good ones, this is a great peaceful hobby and that's how I would expect it to be.
But where there are sales of items there will be a little chaos mixed in. :)

I have purchased from almost all you have listed there and all experiences were good.

Nothing but great things from here so far, FigBid is a bit of a different story, but mostly good!

I have had great experiences with 4loveoffigs, Zwerchfell, Spthorn, jessup42, GrowNewPlants there are others, those stick out to me

My very first cuttings were from spthorn every one rooted - his non-dormant cuttings - they were beautiful. Then I killed half of them by loving them and over watering. I really haven't had bad experiences.

I have been stalking their site for some time but havent ordered due to lack of information on the experience. This is good to hear

I have gotten 25 or so figs and several pomegranites from one green world, 99% have been healthy, good size. I had 1 that was not great, it arrived with moss growing on it and had several weak branks with bunched nodes but i pruned and plabted and it doubbled in side the same season.

Their shipping is a bit slow but i think pricing and quality are a good deal.

Well to be honest I'd say all my purchases from sellers but 2 1/2 were positive experiences.

But for the sake of posting up a seller's name the one that stands out because the seller had most of the Mario figs that would be Wayne.

Edit I've only ever purchased fig varieties from Ebay (which I immediately stopped soon thereafter) and FigBid.

I had great experience with Seth and Smatthew from fb, great cuttings, all beautifully lignified and a lot come with over 6 nodes. I didn't had great experience with Kremp, the cuttings received are thin and green.

The goal is so when people search the forum for a seller name something pops up. So thanks for saying so!

MattK and Opiem10 have sent me cuttings recently. They were much larger than 6" and in great condition. I received some trees from Woodcreek in October and wouldn't hesitate ordering from him. Other people I have worked with in the past are: eboone, Hambones, Andrea, deanp and of course 9ah-figlet. Not sure if all of them are on FigBid, but I have received either cuttings or trees from them and was very happy with their products.

The names mentioned are people who participate in fig forums and I would support them over sellers who are not. It is mentioned over and over to get to know your sellers. Active members of a forum share their experiences and deserve our business as they are just trying to support this hobby. If people advertise they are on a forum, read their posts if you can.

Trustyfarms has beautiful trees ❤️
one thing thats a bummer as a native plant enthusiast is they list a bunch of hybrid azaleas as native, but theyre not. or they are hybrids of two U.S. azaleas without overlapping ranges. But their selection is quite good for azaleas.

Man i hope my r. calendulaceum comes back this year. the drought reallly hit it hard and i didnt notice until it had a little dieback/ wilt
