I love snow a lot more than I like freezing rain or just cold weather of 15F or less. I use the snow to fertilize my gardens and use snow as mulch against cold temperatures. I don't like the danger snow presents or the labor to clear the driveway on the other hand.

My forecast is from a few inches to a foot and a half depending on if the storm tracks north. I’ll also be getting the first single digit temperatures this weekend - many branches on my RdB are already toast, but maybe the others will fair better. I’ll take the snow any day compared to the ice storm the folks down south may get.

How's that? Is it going to be all ice mix for you instead? So far we are looking at snow turning into ice mix here.

My snow accumulation has increased to over a foot according to Ryan bulk of it falling Saturday night into Sunday but then turning to either sleet or freezing rain. Sleet is better than the freezing rain because freezing rain builds up on the surface of everything it touches especially dangerous on power lines.

I feel your pain. I just found out our snow prediction is a whopping 18-22”!!!! 
We never get snow like this, some winters. I never even take the snow shovel out.

It was 2 days ago!!Hopefully you’ll remember where you put your shovel last time you used it.
This was the next day AFTER I finished shoveling 6”!
What does the god of snow hate me!!!!!

We all need a good workout from time to time, right?
My favorite snow shoveling past time is finally clearing the driveways and then the plow comes along just to push the heavy snow back in front of the apron.

Here’s my temps starting Monday after the storm when the artic blast comes through.Man im excited! But im flying into it for vacation.
The cold snap moving east looks fierce!
its going to be 5 degrees in boston this weekend while im visiting (it was 75 today arizona!)
