Unk fig Identification

I got a young potted fig tree(from sucker in ground), but the owner doesn’t know what variety it is. They said it was planted 25-30 years ago (it’s a huge tree now) and it produces massive figs. Could this be a Brown Turkey perhaps? What are some likely varieties that this may be?

That’s what I’m hoping to find out maybe this season. All I have is a thin stick with a few leaves in the pot!

What do the leaves look like? The fruit looks alot like BT, how big is the eye.

Not sure about the eye, all I have is that picture from the owner, which was from last season.

Wow those are some monsters!

Sometimes it's difficult to tell a variety with juvenile leaves.
Could be a Cali BT, though I've never had it.

I think it looks like California BT as well I think if it had a smaller eye maybe EBT but the eye looks big.

I don't think EBT get that big.
Could be wrong but I never seen anyone post a big one. lol

Yea, I think you are right if those are 3 or 4 inch tiles they would be massive. Maybe something like Giant Blk. German could get that big idk i've not seen that fig in person.

is this a pic of the breba? those tend to be larger. brunswick is big but even this seems huge for that. brown turkey breba can get pretty huge

How big a Fig Tree? is it much higher than 15 ft ? I would suggest Olympian except They don't seem to grow twenty feet high. The top out at fifteen feet max.

The tree was 15-20ft tall and wide. So it seems like we are leaning toward the BT as the probable one - if I don’t kill it perhaps it can ripen a fruit for me!

Yeah, I tried growing it for a few seasons.
Never got a fig, they all burst open and spoiled.
