90% of the native wildflowers and grasses I am currently growing and many of the other flowers/herbs/garden seeds I have many new ones for this year that I am growing, and many are just collected over the years that I grow on and off.Nice collection. Do you currently grow all of that?
The SC Native Plant Society is starting a native seed bank (I'm pretty sure it is a collaboration between several SE states). I am on the board of one of the chapters so I think I will likely help with that. Plus I do a lot of trading with the local botanical garden.Svalbard Global Seed Vault called ...they want to make you a satellite branch!
I have a gallon ziploc bag in the freezer full of seed packets plus a plastic shoebox full.
Problem is. Some are getting old. I just planted six types of cucumber seeds to see if they are still good.
Looking at the jicama in your list. Reminds me. I need to plant the Ahipa seeds I have and hope they are still good after sitting for two years.![]()
