Is this the same variety as the "chocomato"? It sure looks the same to me...A bit bummed on this, Ive been awaiting to see if they produce a slicer, which I would have wanted to buy. They just made a striped version of the OG purple tomato, a slightly larger one and then an orange tomato.

I also dont like that they seemingly havent patented the beta tomato but are still saying you cant sell the fruit or use it as parent in breeding. To me that feels like trying to get patent like protection without putting in the work to patent it.
A friend of mine, who is a commercial tomato grower in The Netherlands grew it (years ago!)...
It wasn't just "different", but also had much higher levels of "healthy compounds" in it.
A success story one would think. However... It totally failed commercially as people just didn't
like the look of it... Like it was over-ripe in a bad way...
