I use these in the 1mil thickness:
do you scrape the bark before you apply rooting hormone?

Also do you have any that are really slow, show me those so i feel better lol.

how much water do you use at the start?/ how often do you water if at all

While I know some people do differently and it works, personally I do scrape the bark and I do use rooting hormone.

When I go back downstairs, I’ll take a pic of a straggler. It will definitely make you feel better!

Reindeer Games update - Cherry Pie:

Reindeer Games was the best contest!!
It was fair and easy and everyone could play, and there were so many days of the game, so lots of people could win.

And since there was just a single cutting of each variety, but a lot of varieties, it’s especially awesome for us newbies to have a chance to grow different varieties.

Thank you again - I really appreciated that giveaway! 🥰

Oh cherry pie, sounds like something I need to try….lol. Dang wish list keeps growing here.

I put a lot more soil in them than most people do.

I do as well. And stuff them pretty firmly. It also helps hold everything together when up-potting. I see too many people not pack their soil firmly enough in their pops and you can see it all loosey goosey in there. Even with good roots, you can tell that soil will fall away after the bag is peeled off.

Here is an Ondata, you can see the roots stretching out the plastic where they run along the outside of the Pro-mix.

@BucksCountyFigs : The FigPop queen👸!
do you add any mycorrhizae or fertilizer or anything else to the promix for the figpop ? And sorry if you’ve already mentioned it, but how many parts water?

It looks really great!

Actually, Ondata is one that I cannot seem to grow!!! 😩 I tried with 2 very beautiful green cuttings, and they are not dead, but they are not growing.

Did you do anything special or different for Ondata?
