Looking for other fig varieties with different flavor. What are some of your figs with different flavor profile cherry, strawberry, other berries..

Well: i havent tasted all of these but i have made it my mission to collect and analyze every fig anyone has described as cherry. My current collection:

Negra d'agde (cherry twizzler)
Unk Pastilliere (allegedly the most cherry but needs polination)
Bourjasette Grise (sometimes described as cherry-berry)
Cavaliere (Ross says its what first comes to mind when he thinks cherry fig)
Cherry Pie (in the name)
Cherry Cordial
Cilegia Dolce (means sweet cherry)
Craven's Craving (often said to be strawberry- cherry)
Hative d'Argentiel( berry-cherry)
Italian-258 (sometimes described as cherry)
Red Lebanese Bekka Valley ("bomb of sweet cherry flavor")
Panache (widely described as cherry)

What im looking to pick up eventually:
San Biagio (number 1 on the list, many say cherry)
Angelito (im less interested in this one, but i have some people say blackberry-cherry)
Flatbush Red (someone on the long island fig page descrbied it as "exactly like a cherry")
eve's black cherry (in the name)
sweet and sour cherry
Colonel Littman's Black Cross (ive seen "berry-cherry")
Nuestra Senora del Carmen (NSDC) (cherry-spice)

The ones that I think are most promising: Cavaliere, Unk Pastilliere, Negra d'Agde, Haitive d'Argentiel, Panache, San Biagio, Eve's Black Cherry, Flatbush Red

on the strawberry side: Adriatic JH tastes a lot like strawberry to me. When underripe it tastes like yogurt with strawberry jam to me too which is nice.

JANETS UNK . right before it died from goupher girdiling it tasted just like "louden,s cherry cough drops "! still have a 5 gallon tree and a in ground graft . hoping to taste from these without the dying influence to confirm taste this next year . NEVER HAD A FIG THIS CHERRY BEFORE !!!!

A slightly different perspective - enhance the flavor of your figs by adding other fruits and berries to add that extra flavor of sour cherry, raspberry, strawberry, honey berries, and more. I also made a freaking amazing fig jam this summer - 50% figs and 50% Burgundy plums. Insanely good. Beats plain fig jam any day.

How big are your fruits? I suspect I have a watering issue since the fruits tend to be small but tasty. Not sure I call it cherry but it is a very pleasant unique taste.

Since Siblawi and Izbat An Naj are both reported to taste like bananas, I wonder if anyone has grown them together side by side to compare them. I don't know which one is better. If my Siblawi cuttings root successfully, I will have both varieties next year.

To be more accurate... when my wife, kid and I first ate them we all said, "banana popsicle". Probably because it was way sweeter than any banana we've ever had. I haven't tried Izbat An Naj

That sounds great. I have read different things about Izbat. Some say banana flavor, some say pineapple, some say banana & pineapple, and some say tastes like a regular honey fig until it's a few years old and then you get the banana flavor. Honestly Siblawi sounds better.

I wish I could give you a comparison..... Maybe someone here has tried both.
