We had a Melanzana Meradoscola from Harvey that almost had an orange flavor, it was a young tree and that was a few years ago but you might try it out.

You need trees by both type and extended season. Honey tree Iranian Candy, Qudsaya, Barbillone. Peter’s Honey. Strawberry tree - Early Etna, Green M, WM#1

Then you only need 4 trees in pots.
