I got these large pots that I put my Cypress trees in. I think they are 25 gallon. Some day I'm going to put fig trees in these pots. I have a Celeste that will be 4 years old next season and I might put it in one of these in the spring time.

Also check out Walmart, but download the app and scan with your phone, because the price is not marked correctly in the store. I just got a gallon of Alaska Fish for $8.The blow molded break on me pretty quick. I like the injection molded as well. In the east end, Astral Grow has pretty good quality and prices.... When I get a bit further west, Grow It All is pretty solid.
BTW, Holland Industry has the best price I've found on Alaska Fish fert if you happen to use it.

Thanks for the tip. I just ran out of that stuff yesterday. Also check out Walmart, but download the app and scan with your phone, because the price is not marked correctly in the store. I just got a gallon of Alaska Fish for $8.
Oh I thought you got it online. Our Walmart emptied out everything in the garden center and replaced it with Christmas stuff. Im going to look for the fish juice online.Yup, and did I ever get the looks as I excitedly absconded to the checkout with 4 gallons of fish puree!

So true,Surprisingly, I’ve noticed small Mom and Pop operations always have better deals with many bagged products (fertilizer, amendments, grass seed, etc.) when compared to big box stores. I would have thought the opposite to be true.
I will have to visit some local nurseries to see what they are hiding from people. There is a local nursery here that has literally a mountain of nursery pots of all sizes. I discovered it behind the green houses, so most people don't know about it. I buy those pots for $.25 per gallon. It seems like a good deal to me. I don't know why I haven't paid much attention to their fertilizers. I need to go there and see what they got. Maybe they have some deals this time of year.
Which Hydroponic store you got your bag from?I goofed up and ordered a yard of garden mix instead of my usual potting mix. Both are nearly identical, except one has perlite and the other one doesn't.
Went to the local maryjuwanna grow supply store and found this amazing stuff. $47 (something like $30 USD) for 4cf. Figgin' A!

Got mine from Grow It All as I was in the area yesterday.Which Hydroponic store you got your bag from?
I'm in Oregon City, OR - I get mine here: https://www.concentratesnw.com/?product=perlite-xlpI have never been able to find #4 near me, and the online stores charge $50 or more for shipping, so that's not an option.
@DCallahan @figologist, where are you both located please?
Cool, thanks, I didn’t realize they do a free shipping promo.Keep an eye out for when A.M. Leonard has their sales. Super course is around $33 a 4 Cu.Ft bag and course is around $28 a bag, FREE SHIPPING is typically their sale promotion..... but shipping on 4 or 5 bags can run more than the cost of the perlite itself. So when they have their sale, I load up for the year. Even though they have a couple of sales periods during the winter months.
Im in the Northeast corner of MarylandI have never been able to find #4 near me, and the online stores charge $50 or more for shipping, so that's not an option.

Good Hydroponic store in the area is First State Seed, I asked about super chunking stuff and they said it was in the back and would be $50, I assumed they were talking about perlite like I was but.........
