Today's harvest of Sister Madeline's Green Greek. Cutting started in February and now its 7ft tall. Very vigirous grower.
When cutting was growing it quickly put out 4 figs. First one dropped, second one half of it was attacked by ants but I wasnt gonna let them take it all.. I ate the other half and it tasted really good. First time ever an ant attack on my figs. Now just had the third fig and I must say WOW!! What a great tasting fig. Im surprised its not talked about too much. It tastes really close to Angelito.
Its smaller in size but great in taste, maybe size will get bigger as tree ages.
Picture is with Crozes for size comparison.

Highly underrated fig. The fruit will increase as the tree matures and I am getting fruit within the 50-70g range.
How's the ripening time on these? Since this was a cutting iit s hard to say for me.
Glad to hear they will get bigger, otherwise it kind of looks like vdn vr version.

I was hoping to get some of these, the wasps and bees are attacking them before they even start
They must feel that its a very sweet fig.
I never had an ant attack before until this fig was attacked, and it turns out they know what they are doing.
