There is not much info on this variety online. I do know it's very late (December), so that limits it to warmer zones, of course - it seems to be popular in California. I was skeptical of ever tasting fruit on this tree, given I am in Zone 8A, but I have hope! This tree is bursting with large figs, and it appears one of them may ripen by late August/September - could it breba?
This was the only blurb I found online:
"The Pasquale Fig tree, also referred to as the “Vernino,” is the latest fruiting of all varieties, and produces a small purple fruit with a reddish-strawberry pulp that ripens in December and January. Sweet and rich, its fruit is also delicate and susceptible to frost damage."
