My phone app has changed again it’s now saying -1°F For Monday and 1°F for Tuesday. I really want to see what temps register on the thermometer in the shed Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. My fig trees are overwintering in there. We ordered the shed to be completely insulated and it is. It’s just not a heated one.I think in the 10 years I've lived here in North Georgia, we saw it dip down to 8° one time.
I believe that has just been in the last year or two.
But normally we are above 20°.
I do remember going outside when I lived in Indiana and throwing warm water in the air to watch it freeze before it hit the ground.
I cant handle that crap anymore.![]()
Are you going to put a small heater in there or let it be?My phone app has changed again it’s now saying -1°F For Monday and 1°F for Tuesday. Have to let it be, there’s no electricity in it.Are you going to put a small heater in there or let it be?
An extension cord and a 40 or 60w standard lightbulb will do the trick if you need. Especially if the shed is insulated. I’ve done this in my uninsulated shed and it made a surprising difference. Food for thought.Have to let it be, there’s no electricity in it.
I told my wife I am as far south as I'm going to go....now I'm thinking, or rather rethinking.
Hope nobody ever put their tongue on that boom lift. Thats arctic cold! That is some cold temps. Another reason I live down south.
I rather hurricanes over that kind of cold.
Coldest temps I ever dealt with was in a warehouse freezer. -18f
The boom lift froze and I had to scale down.
I told them I quit.![]()
No. But I did have to wrap my legs around it to get down.Hope nobody ever put their tongue on that boom lift. Thats arctic cold!
Hmm? Whats he doing to that pole??? lol
