Astringent Asian kakis are my favorite fruit + figs!! My favorite grafted no longer ships, and I don’t have any persimmons in my new garden. Would you consider doing a graft for me?

I also love those, i tried to grow one from bonsai and it didnt do well. I really wanr to try again, historically my grandpas yard would have dozens of seedlings each spring but the past 2 years didnt do well.

Those trees are just so awesome, the bark and leaf colour contrast is stunning.

If you’re getting blackberries they appear to be a good variety especially for the south since they tolerate humidity and heat well. They won’t flower or fruit if the weather is sustainably over 90 degrees though but will once it cools down. Also keep in mind my reply to the other post on this thread about aggressive roots and trellis poles/wires needed. If the primacanes tip over they might root at that point so good to keep them up and tip them in early June for increased yields
 
i grow many different vegetables and various edible plants. i love functional plants, so edible and medicinal plants mostly, but i also can't get enough of cacti!
i also love growing plants that people see as weeds but actually have high value as food or medicine. i am the only person i know with a potted nettle plant that i nurture :)
