Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes I'm into figs! It's always been my favorite tree. I have a lot of good childhood memories picking figs off my grandparents' fig tree and eating fig preserves all the time. I never knew there were so many different varieties until just a couple of years ago. When I was searching a variety I found, I'd come across this forum and it has been helpful picking which trees to get or not. So when I moved into my current house last year I started trying to get a good variety to grow and that has turned into planting fig trees all around the perimeter of my front yard and I'll work on getting some more going in my back "yard" (an old 3 acre pen for cattle). I'm up to about probably 30-35 different varieties. I wish I would have joined here last year and everyone could watch from the very beginning, but it practically is this year because a late frost really set my trees back and killed a couple. I want to give my thanks to the sellers on Figbid that I've bought from. I've been very impressed with everyone so far, as far as healthy plants and packing them for shipping. May your trees grow strong and give you all the figs you can eat and share!

That's awesome, and glad you decided to join our community.
Feel free to post some pics and varieties that do well for you in your region.
It may help others out there figure out which to acquire.
I do believe we have several members from out there. :)
